They may be some of the most poked-fun-at shoes on the internet, but you’ve gotta admit, Crocs are a big hit in the healthcare sector: they’re waterproof, easy to clean, and comfortable enough for a long day of work.

The footwear giant announced Wednesday that as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, they’re offering healthcare workers across the US a free pair of crocs while supplies last.

In addition to the shoe giveaway for individual healthcare workers, Crocs will also be donating up to 100,000 pairs of shoes across select healthcare facilities and organizations, including the Dayton Area Hospital Association, St. Anthony North Health Campus in Denver, and others.

“Crocs is immediately prepared to fulfill and ship up to 10,000 pairs per day to our heroes in healthcare. The duration of our giveaway will depend on our level of inventory and the amount of requests we receive,” said Crocs President and CEO Andrew Rees.

“These workers have our deepest respect, and we are humbled to be able to answer their call and provide whatever we can to help during this unprecedented time.”

Healthcare workers interested in signing up for a free pair of Crocs Classic Clogs or Crocs At Work styles can request their pair of free shoes online.
