Dine like royalty at a Champagne Fête this weekend

Known to be one of the best restaurants in Seattle for fancy French fare, award-winning chef Michael Mina is taking RN74 to new heights with a bubbly Champagne and Sparkling Fête.

If you don’t exactly know what a fête is, you aren’t alone. In simpler terms, RN74 is allowing for the opportunity to spend a dinner like the royals at their Champagne and Sparkling party.

The first course consists of a caviar ice cream cone, crème fraiche, Osetra caviar, paired with Bereche et Fils ‘Le Cran’ Extra Brut, Ludes 1er Cru, Montagne de Reims 2011 to drink.

The second course features king crab tempura and meyer lemon aioli with Veuve Fourny et Fils Blanc de Blancs Brut, Vertus 1er Cru, Cote des Blancs.

The third course is a chicken fried foie Belgian waffle with poached pear, huckleberry gastrique, and brown butter powder and Billecart-Salmon Extra Brut Millesime 2008.

The fourth course wraps up the dinner portion with a veal sweetbread corndog, a Maine lobster roll, and fingerling potato chips, with Egly-Ouriet ‘les Vignes de Vrigny’ Blanc de Noirs, Vrigny 1er Cru, Montagne de Reims. While the dessert course, the fifth course, offers truffled popcorn panna cotta with Krug Grand Cuvee.

This event is great for those wanting to expand their palettes, love dressing up for events, or deserve to treat themselves to a lovely meal.
