CatVideoFest 2020 is coming to Seattle next weekend

The Internet is a wonderful thing. It’s given us access to the wealth of human knowledge, enabled us to communicate with people across the world, and helped to change the political landscape via social media.

But perhaps, more importantly, it’s given us an endless supply of cat videos.

From grumpy cats to cutesy kitties and even the occasional tabby that’s unnerved by a sneakily positioned cucumber; it seems like we can’t get enough of our furry friends online.

This weekend, Seattlites can celebrate their love for feline films with a carefully curated selection of the best cat videos the internet has to offer at the CatVideoFest 2020 film festival.

Taking place at SIFF Cinema Upton on February 22 and 23, the festival will feature an “exclusive reel” of the very best cat videos from around the globe, pulled from submissions, internet powerhouses, music videos, and home movies.

Aside from the movies, enjoy free cat swag and giveaways all weekend, chats with the Progressive Animal Welfare Society, (PAWS) and All the Best Pet Care reps, and create your own cat toys.

Best of all, it’s all for a good cause with percentages of the ticket sales benefitting cat welfare programs across Seattle through PAWS.
