Highly-anticipated Milk Drunk opens in Beacon Hill

Aug 7 2020, 9:15 pm

Born out of a passion for soft serve and a desire to bring some sweet offerings to the Beacon Hill neighborhood, Logan and Sara of Restaurant Homer have finally opened their second restaurant: Milk Drunk.

The name ‘Milk Drunk’ was inspired by their menu as well as an homage to their newborn daughter, Simone.

Located just down the street from Restaurant Homer, the spot features soft serve, cocktails, and delicious fried chicken sandwiches.

Milk Drunk has six sandwiches to choose from, five consisting of brined and double-fried chicken, and one with marinated and fried portobello mushroom.

Those looking for eats without a bun can enjoy chicken strips, a kale salad, or indulge in some sides of house slaw, house pickles, mozzarella sticks, or waffle fries.

Of course, you can’t visit the sweet spot without trying some soft serve. Go for vanilla, malted chocolate, fig leaf-coconut, or rainier cherry. Then decide if you’d like a hard dip shell or extra toppings. We suggest adding cocoa nibs, fruity pebbles, or potato chips.
