Crawl your way through a St. Patrick's Day beer parade in Ballard

Mar 5 2020, 10:03 pm

Looking for something a little wilder to do on St. Patricks Day weekend?

The St. Pat’s Parade O’ Pints in Ballard is the event for you.

Don your best green attire and join others in celebrating one of Ireland’s patron saints, St. Patrick, as well as Irish culture as a whole — particularly their drinking culture.

On Saturday, March 14, bar crawl around Ballard and enjoy specialty beers from all eleven Ballard breweries. We hear some may even be serving up green beer!

Breweries taking part in the parade/crawl include:

  • Populuxe Brewing
  • Maritime Pacific Brewery
  • Reuben’s Brews
  • NW Peaks Brewery
  • Bad Jimmy’s Brewing Co.
  • Peddler Brewing Company
  • Hale’s Ales
  • Stoup Brewing
  • Lucky Envelope Brewing
  • Obec Brewing
  • Lagunitas

If you’re not in the mood to walk, try catching Hale Ale’s Double Decker Bus which will be running between all breweries of Ballard from 2 to 6 pm. For $5, you can purchase a “bus fare” wristband to hop on and off the bus all day. All proceeds of the wristbands support the Seattle Firefighters Pipes and Drums.
