Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos donates $100M to Feeding America

From creating a relief fund for small businesses to serving up meals to those in need, Amazon has certainly been pooling its resources to help out the Seattle community.

Noting the immeasurable problem of food insecurity in American households, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos understands has announced he’ll be donating $100 million to Feeding America, who will then distribute the funds to their national network of food banks and food pantries.

This is not the first time Bezos and Amazon have helped the less fortunate: along with the launch of an employee match campaign to encourage employees to donate to 20 select non-profits, the tech company has made generous donations to Mary’s Place and FareStart.
