Seattle Humane has been around since 1897. Beginning as a society devoted to animal issues involving stockyards and slaughterhouses, it has grown into a private non-profit dedicated to saving and serving pets in need. Check out their dogs online, then submit your application.

Forever Home Dog Rescue receives dogs from owner surrenders and overcrowded shelters and houses them in foster homes until they’re ready for adoption. All of their available dogs can be found online. A one-on-one visit, as well as adoption forms, must be completed before adoption.
