Adding to the climbing number of people within President Trump’s bubble that have tested positive for COVID-19, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany revealed that her latest test has come back positive this morning.

Shared on social media, the press secretary, who has echoed President Trump’s opinion on the severity of this virus over the course of the last two months, says that she tested positives but has “no symptoms.”

“After testing negative consistently, including every day since Thursday [when Trump was confirmed positive], I tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday morning,” reads McEnany’s statement in a screenshot she posted on Twitter.

The press secretary also makes note that, according to the White House Medical Unit, there are no reporters, producers, or members of the press listed as “close contacts” that may be in danger of having contracted the virus from McEnany.

“As an essential worker, I have work diligently to provide needed information to the American People at this time,” continues McEnany. “With my recent positive test, I will begin the quarantine process and will continue working on behalf of the American People remotely.”

Since the positive test results from Senior Aide Hope Hicks, a number of White House staffers, a small group of reporters, and members of the Trump Administration have tested positive for the coronavirus.

This list includes Hicks, President Trump, Trump’s campaign manager Bill Stepien, Kellyanne Conway, Utah Senator Mike Lee, North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis, Notre Dame President John Jenkins, and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

Trump’s political opponent, Democratic Presidential Candidate Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, have both tested negative for coronavirus, alongside US Vice President Mike Pence.
