Biscuits and Gravy, the two-faced Oregon kitten, has died

Biscuits and Gravy, a two-faced “Janus” cat, was born just a few days ago in the small town of Albany, Oregon, to a one-year-old farm cat.

The owners, the King family, have now shared with their Biscuits and Gravy Facebook page that the kitten has passed away.

Janus cats aren’t known to live very long after birth, but the King family said they are happy Biscuits had the opportunity to bring so much joy and fascination to people’s lives.

We thank all of you who have been so kind, prayed, and wished the best for Biscuits and Gravy,” the page said. “We will never forget your kindness!”

The post talked about how regularly the kitten was eating; it just wasn’t putting on the weight needed for a growing cat.

He ate a lot, and he peed and pooped a lot. He just didn’t grow. It’s hard work for a little guy like him to support a large head with two complete faces,” the family wrote.

“Biscuits and Gravy is definitely a gift. God allowed this little miracle to come into our lives for some reason.”
