Get ready for a hot one, folks, because we’re going to see temperatures that get very close to 100°F this weekend.
It has been a productive and newsworthy week, so as we look ahead to the weekend, it’s only appropriate that our summer here in the Pacific Northwest continues to crank up the heat.
Friday night, temperatures will remain in the mid-to-high 80s until the sun sets around 8:20 pm.
Coming up this weekend, the National Weather Service remains steadfast on their warnings of extreme heat levels, and this isn’t going to help the current spreading Mosier Creek Fire that recently got an evacuation area upgrade.

Be prepared when heading out of the house. Use proper coverage on your skin and your eyes, alongside keeping your mouth and nose covered in accordance with Oregon Governor Kate Brown’s mask and face-covering mandate.
