Good ol’ Valentine’s Day is coming back in two weeks, and you’re in a great city to celebrate.

Portland’s been ranked the third best city in the US to celebrate Valentine’s Day, according to credit score site WalletHub.

Researchers compared 100 of the largest US cities across 14 key metrics, ranging from florists per capita to COVID-19 cases to high-quality takeout food.

Most of Portland’s points came from safety, budget, activities, and gift accessibility.

It was also discovered that half of those surveyed would prefer love to health, reporting that 50% of people would rather get shot by Cupid’s arrow than receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Men were found to be nearly two times more likely than women to think a Valentine’s Day gift is worth going into credit card debt over, yet 47% of people revealed that they wouldn’t marry someone with bad credit and would break up with their significant other if they spent irresponsibly.
