What to eat in Portland today: Pizzaforte toasts a hall-of-fame side dish
There is, on rare occasions, a specialty shop that far outreaches their weight class in a menu item that no one would see coming. Pizzaforte in Beaverton is one of those food establishments.
When an eatery puts the word “forte” in their name, you’d expect them to be good at something. It is their forte, after all. Now, Pizzaforte makes a fantastic pie, don’t get us wrong. However, it’s a completely different menu item that has fans flocking to this spot.
We can, and will, tell anyone that they should definitely try the wood-fired pizza here.

What to order
The pizza coming out of this place is absolutely fantastic. However, if you ask anyone why they travel out to the BG Food Cartel to visit this little cart, it’s for a side dish that has quickly made a name for the tiny and tasty Pizzaforte.

Among their menu is the scrumptious, and hall-of-fame-worth Toasted Ravioli that comes perfectly crisp, flawlessly cheesy, and is an extremely dip-able delicacy. These little bad boys are what has cemented Pizzaforte as a Portland favorite.
