There is a very charming penguin wandering around in the Oregon Zoo now that there are no people visiting.
With recent shutdowns of non-essential businesses, the residents at the Oregon Zoo have had plenty of space to stretch their wings (or flippers in this case). Thanks to the awesome caretakers, and social media team at the beloved Oregon Zoo, we get to watch one little fella make a whole lot of friends.

Nacho, a Humboldt Penguin, is a rather lovely grounded bird, and these clips shared by zoo staff truly bring a pile of joy to our Monday. According to his caretakers, Nacho particularly took a liking to the zoo’s Otters.
The Oregon Zoo also gave us a sneak peek at their newly hatched baby penguins, who are the fluffy animals that we deserve this week, and posted a flock of wandering penguins this past weekend to celebrate National Penguin Day.
