The Oregon Health Authority confirmed 876 new known and presumptive cases of coronavirus, along with five additional virus-related deaths, on Wednesday.
At this time, the total number of known coronavirus cases in Oregon sits at 52,770, with 742 deaths.

According to Oregon Health Authority, the new cases are in the following counties: Baker (eight), Benton (11), Clackamas (67), Clatsop (two), Columbia (seven), Coos (10), Crook (one), Curry (three), Deschutes (19), Douglas (32), Grant (five), Harney (one), Hood River (two), Jackson (50), Jefferson (14), Josephine (three), Klamath (two), Lake (five), Lane (51), Linn (10), Malheur (eight), Marion (83), Morrow (two), Multnomah (298), Polk (11), Tillamook (two), Umatilla (32), Union (one), Wallowa (two), Wasco (one), Washington (102), Yamhill (31).
“Oregon’s 742nd COVID-19 death is an 84-year-old man in Multnomah County who tested positive on Nov. 7 and died on Nov. 8, at his residence. The presence of underlying conditions is being confirmed,” reads the OHA’s update.
