Oregon has a favorite Easter treat and it won't surprise you

Now that we’re coming up to Easter, it’s time to bring up the only thing that matters: treats and Easter baskets.

Using Google Trends, researchers at Zippia determined what Easter treats each state eats a disproportionate amount of.

In the study, treats referred to snacks that peaked in search volume around Easter. This years’ favorite may not shock you.

This year, Oregon remained predictable and had chocolate bunnies as a favorite Easter treat.

America’s favorite Easter treat was one that we wouldn’t expect: boiled eggs. They earned the title of number one with 14 states selecting them as a favorite.

Peeps came second, with eight states in favor of the sweet snack, followed by jelly beans.
