Educators in Oregon are now eligible for COVID-19 vaccine

If you work in public or private K-12 school settings, your school district will likely be contacting you to schedule COVID-19 vaccinations.

As of Monday, all early childhood and K-12 educators, as well as childcare providers and staff, are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine.

Those eligible are advised to schedule an appointment, if necessary, at participating vaccination sites available to educators. Patrons must arrive wearing a face covering, and once administered, will receive a vaccination card detailing when to get the second and final dose.

Registered childcare workers will be contacted by their employers with information about scheduling a vaccine. Employers of childcare workers or in-home-providers will be contacted by county or other local vaccine partners to provide information on scheduling vaccinations for themselves and for their employees.

More information on COVID-19 vaccination for educators and staff is on the OHA COVID-19 webpage, including a list of eligible Oregon educators and staff.
