Oregon reports 935 new COVID-19 cases, 13 new deaths

The Oregon Health Authority confirmed 935 new known cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, as well as 13 new deaths.

The total number of known cases in Oregon is now 58,570. The virus has claimed the lives of 778 people in the state.

According to Oregon Health Authority, the new cases are in the following counties: Baker (four), Benton (15), Clackamas (85), Clatsop (five), Columbia (seven), Coos (five), Curry (four), Deschutes (30), Douglas (37), Harney (five), Hood River (four), Jackson (60), Jefferson (28), Josephine (two), Klamath (25), Lake (four), Lane (45), Lincoln (two), Linn (16), Malheur (seven), Marion (151), Morrow (one), Multnomah (208), Polk (21), Tillamook (three), Umatilla (41), Union (six), Wallowa (one), Wasco (five), Washington (88), and Yamhill (20).

“Oregon’s 778th COVID-19 death is an 85-year-old man in Multnomah County who tested positive on Nov. 1 and died on Nov. 9, at Providence Portland Medical Center. He had underlying conditions,” the OHA update reads.
