Oregon reports over 1,300 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours

The Oregon Health Authority has reported 1,346 new and presumptive COVID-19 cases and 41 new deaths.

The state has now seen a total of 129,109 COVID-19 cases, and the death toll has risen to 1,708.

The new confirmed and presumptive cases reported today are in the following counties: Baker (16), Benton (29), Clackamas (105), Clatsop (10), Columbia (13), Coos (nine), Crook (19), Deschutes (89), Douglas (25), Gilliam (one), Grant (eight), Harney (one), Hood River (six), Jackson (58), Jefferson (23), Josephine (64), Klamath (32), Lake (two), Lane (98), Lincoln (three), Linn (50), Malheur (24), Marion (97), Morrow (nine), Multnomah (307), Polk (28), Tillamook (11), Umatilla (52), Union (seven), Wasco (13), Washington (110) and Yamhill (26).

Since Tuesday, the number of hospitalizations has increased by 31 to 434. As of the last count, 103 people remain in the ICU.

A total of 14,722 doses of vaccine were added to the state immunization registry today.
