There's a drive-thru haunted house experience happening in Portland
This Halloween, one company is bringing safety and horror together with a drive-thru haunted house experience.
The Oaks Park Haunted Drive-Thru kicked off last weekend and runs from Thursday to Sunday every week until September 1. During the week leading up to October 31, the Oaks Park Haunted Drive-Thru will run every night.
“A new and innovative take on the classic Haunted House experience combining new scare techniques with theatrical story-telling,” reads the Scare Grounds website.
“Enjoy the same Halloween frights and terrifying thrills you have come to know and love now from the safety of your own vehicle. Become part of the show as characters are front and center leading you through a unique storytelling experience as spine-tingling audio, video, and special effects surround you like never before.”
The Center for Disease Control has suggested that folks refrain from traditional events for HalloweenĀ this year, including door-to-door trick-or-treating, sharing candy, and having parties. The Oregon Health Authority echoed these concerns and guidelines.
