We’re all trying to branch out and do more things to pass the time or entertain, and one Portland man built a version of Disneyland’s “It’s a Small World” ride to make his grandkids smile.

One of the oldest amusement traditions in the United States, the “It’s a Small World” ride in California’s Disneyland takes riders on a trip through many cultures and walks of life.

With physical distancing in place, and his grandkids left to interact with him via video chat, Oregon grandfather George Warneke remade his grandchildren’s favorite park ride with what was available around him.

He shared his virtual homemade ride on Facebook.

Both the idea and the ride itself are more than enough to warm your heart.

When you can’t play with your grand kids, you play for them!
