As more and more communities around the world remain in isolation, Fender is offering three months of free guitar lessons.

The digital lessons will be available to the first 100,000 people who wish to partake. Given that Portland remains one of the best music and art cities in the country — bursting with growth and support even in the wake of a global pandemic — it may just be the right time to join the ranks of beloved local bands.

“With everything happening in the world, music has the power to connect us,” wrote Fender on Twitter. “We’re all going to be spending more time inside — so we might as well make some noise.”

With small, “bite-sized” lessons, the Fender Play system boasts a high-performance learning tool for aspiring and seasoned string pickers alike.

Signing up for this awesome offer is easy, and do we need to remind you that it’s completely free?

Simply head on over to the Fender Play Through page and request a code. Using this code during sign-up or checkout will grant your account a three-month subscription to the platform.

Get as much or as little as you wish out of your quarantine, and possibly learn a thing or two along the way.

Fender’s lesson program currently hosts more than 2,500 individual lesson videos for you to enjoy.
