Celebrate Earth Day by sending a postcard from Forest Park

Apr 22 2020, 9:03 pm

This Earth Day, show some love by sending a gorgeous postcard in support of Portland’s Forest Park Conservancy group.

The images on the postcards depict the beautiful nature and flora found in Forest Park, just northwest of Portland.

“While we can’t celebrate by volunteering right now, we know that in Forest Park, every day is Earth Day—and we work year-round in that spirit, rain or shine,” reads the Forest Park Conservancy website. “Your support right now will help us tackle crucial projects alongside our community for many Earth Days, and many years, to come.”

Right now, the Forest Park Conservancy is looking for donations to help out with “crucial projects” during a time in which funding is limited.

So, what better way to support local parks, make someone’s day, and celebrate the planet than sending a postcard on Earth Day. Or, you can donate directly to the Forest Park Conservancy.

For a brief pause from quarantine life, TravelOregon has shared their latest moment of zen, inspired by our beautiful state. Float down Deschutes River and grab a second of calm.
