What to eat in Portland today: Brunch Box PDX
If you were to gather 10 people in a group right now (this is theoretical, please practice proper physical distancing) and asked them which meal to eat in a restaurant is their favorite, we’d bet more than half of them would say brunch.
Part breakfast, part lunch, all mid-morning deliciousness. In truth, brunch is 70% breakfast foods, with some 30% lunch traditions. However, it’s all amazing.
One spot in Portland is packing in all that makes brunch a worldwide spiritual destination and places it in your hand. Brunch Box has been a PDX favorite for a while now and has been able to keep its slightly larger Eastside Portland location open for delivery and takeout.

Unfortunately, the adorable Westside Brunch Box location is closed for the time being.
What to order
For a rather small shop, Brunch Box has a ridiculously extravagant menu, and you’d be pretty satisfied with anything on the board. However, there’s something even more ridiculous than normalcy allows, forcing it to take on a slang name to even be accepted into reality.

The Redonkadonk is the astounding OMG Burger served up by Brunch Box but instead of the bun, it’s surrounded by the warm and gooey hug that is two perfectly melty grilled cheese sandwiches.
