Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, the composer of some of the world’s most renowned and well-known musicals, is bringing music to those in self-isolation and quarantine by performing his famous songs and posting videos of them every day.

The series began with a tweet of Lloyd Webber practicing social distancing in his home and asking his followers, “With us all spending a bit more time at home, which ALW musical number would you like to see Andrew play?”

A flood of responses was seen by fans requesting to hear songs from such shows as CatsEvita, and Jesus Christ Superstar.

The following day, he posted a video of himself playing “All I Ask of You” from his beloved musical Phantom of the Opera.

Every day, Lloyd Weber has been posting more of his beautiful music and sharing it with the masses.

Thus far, he has posted videos of him performing “Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again” from Phantom of the Opera and “Any Dream Will Do” from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Lloyd Weber has also posted a video answering questions submitted by fans regarding his work as well as what his favorite musicals are.

Additionally, he has been encouraging viewers to join in on the musical fun by using the hashtags #HomeIsWhereTheMusicIs and #TogetherAtHome and sharing their own renditions and covers of his iconic melodies.

The call to action even inspired some familiar faces in the musical theater business, including Donny Osmond.

Even some furry friends got involved!

While musical theater may not be for everyone, it just goes to show how one common passion can bring people from around the world together to celebrate something artistic and positive in a time when we could all use something to brighten our days.
