And now, a new eatery called Foodchain serving vegetarian fast food is making a serious buzz downtown Montreal.

Montreal Plaza co-owners and chefs Charles-Antoine Crête and Cheryl Johnson, and baker Jeffrey Finkelstein are at the helm of this new eatery, which has been in soft opening mode for the last few weeks.

Their menu consists of salads and bowls, with meat nowhere to be seen. There are 8 different options with everything cut up and made fresh in front of your eyes. Options range from spicy radish kimchi and carrot endive to beetroot apple and cauliflower mushroom, and all dishes are roughly $10.

We highly recommend visiting this new spot ASAP as we have a feeling it’s going to become quite popular in no time!
