2 trucks wanted for illegally dumping waste on hospital grounds in Laval: police

The Laval Police Service (SPL) has released a photo of two trucks they say have been dumping illegally in the city of Laval.

According to police, two large blue dump trucks are wanted in connection to the dumping of a large load of illegal waste on November 29. Police say the material was left on the grounds of the Cité de la santé hospital in the Vimont area of Laval.

Both trucks are said to have dumped large amounts of soil in the area multiple times. Police say that the discarded waste has all been collected and removed, and does not pose any threat to the environment.

The SPL is reminding residents and businesses that it is strictly forbidden to deposit or discard any waste on the edge of the public highway, and can pose an enviromental risk, depending on the material.
