Tim Hortons offers Prince Harry and Meghan Markle free coffee for life if they move to Canada

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made headlines again on Wednesday as they announced on social media that they are stepping back from their “senior” royal duties.

But inquiring minds want to know: Are they stepping towards free coffee?

Hot on the heels of their recent Christmas holiday in Canada, the couple shared that it’s with the encouragement of the public that they are prepared to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and to work towards becoming financially independent.

The royal duo said moving forward, they “plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages.”

And, as North America is looking to get about half of the pair’s time moving forward, Tim Hortons wants in on the changes.

The coffee purveyor shared their ploy to get the royal couple to relocate to Canada on Twitter.

“No pressure, Meghan and Harry, but if you do choose to move to Canada, free coffee for life,” the tweet reads. “Think about it.”

This new geographic balance, the couple shared, “will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity.”

And, perhaps, it’ll also enable them to get their unlimited caffeine fill, whenever their royal hearts desire.

Because, y’know… they probably can’t do that already.
