The Tampa Bay Lightning are inviting fans to spend a night with the Stanley Cup.
Through Airbnb, for $5,000, a group of six guests will be able to spend a night with the Cup at one of the Lightning’s suites at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. Each “bedroom” will offer three queen beds.
“They dedicated their lives to winning a night with the trophy. All you need to do is book a room,” reads the Airbnb posting. “We transformed a luxury box at Amalie Arena into your very own private guest room suite.”
Fans will also get to experience a wide variety of events:
- Spend the night with the Stanley Cup
- Pop champagne
- Enjoy a five-course meal
- Private skate on the Lightning’s home ice.
- Behind-the-scenes tour of Amalie Arena
- Sound the goal siren
- Take a Zamboni ride
- Watch a movie on the arena’s big screen.
- Meet the Lightning’s mascot, Thunder Bug
The proceeds will benefit crisis intervention and mental health services provided by the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay and other initiatives through the Lightning Foundation.
