You can go stand-up paddleboarding on the St-Lawrence River starting next month

The St-Lawrence River is a gorgeous sight to look at and this summer, it could be gorgeous sight to stand on as well.

Lasalle KSF is a store that specializes in surfing, kayak, and paddleboarding and they are teaming up with Parc Jean-Drapeau to get you stand-up paddleboarding this summer.

Boy, Parc Jean-Drapeau just keeps the water-based activities coming for the summer.

This great way to stay active, and to be part of the historic River is offered in three different varities: SUP (stand-up paddleboarding), SUP Yoga, and SUP Fitness.

Parc Jean Drapeau

The activity coasts off on June 19 and runs through, every day, until August 18.

Paddleboard rentals start at $20 an hour and $10 for each additional hour. They also offer wetsuits to rent for $7 as well as a group 10-rental deal for $150.

Beginner boarders are offered the Introduction SUP pass for $45 where a licensed Lasalle KSF trainer will teach you to master the proper positioning and paddling techniques before hitting the open water.

All the necessary safety precautions are taken to ensure boarders the benefit of safety and leisure.

Other courses offered include SUP Yoga Jala Flo, SUP Yoga Sunset Yin, and SUP Fitness XT.

Reservations are required for all SUP courses but are not necessary for one-time rentals.

The boarding is only available while the weather (and the water) is warm, so take advantage of this great activity while you can.
