Four new sunny destinations offered from Montréal–Trudeau Airport this winter

Four new sunny destinations are being offered from Montréal–Trudeau Airport for travellers looking to escape the winter cold.

The destinations include:

  • AntiguaAntigua, and Barbuda (Sunwing, beginning November 26)
  • Lima, Peru (Air Canada, starting December 16)
  • Dominican Republic (Air Transat, as of December 23)
  • Phoenix, Arizona, U.S. (Air Canada, beginning February 22)

There have been additional seats added to many other destinations including San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Lyon. All of these are  Air Canada, which has increased its overall seating capacity by 10%.

Other carriers including WestJet and AeroMexico have also increased their seating. Overall, Aéroports de Montréal reports that the total number of seats out of Montréal–Trudeau is up 8% this winter over last.
