You can now go 'snow biking' in Montreal this winter

Jan 18 2018, 1:10 am

While Montreal is known as a great city to bike in, it’s not as easy to get around on two wheels when it snows.

But these bikes totally changes the game.

Bike tour company Fitz & Follwell is offering Montrealers the chance to take a spin around the city on their “fatbikes.”

A fatbike is an offroad bike that has oversized tires allowing you to safely take on the snow. No more tires getting caught or slipping on ice. This bike is one of the best ways to see the city during winter.

Fitz & Follwell’s guided fatbike tour of Montreal will take you around plenty of beautiful winter sites including Beaver Lake, frosted paths, Mount Royal, and university campuses. Of course, there is a stop for hot chocolate during the journey.

Guided fatbike mountain tours take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, departing at 1 pm. Tours run 2.5-3 hours and cover 10 kilometers.

To book a tour or find out more about fatbikes, visit Fitz & Follwell’s website.

It’s the perfect way to get around Montreal this winter!
