You can shop and eat local goodies at this new Westmount cafe
The future of coffee shops has arrived.
The Standard Cafe, a recently opened coffee shop in upscale Westmount, is wowing customers with their unique setup.
Marketing themselves as “the most luxurious coffee experience in the heart of Westmount, Montreal,” a morning at The Standard Cafe is definitely in order.
In addition to excellent espresso, the Standard Cafe is a spot where once can lounge around, indulge in a locally-made baked treat, and better yet, shop for luxury goods.
Owned and operated by the designer of Kilani, a luxury leather goods retailer in Montreal, customers are invited to shop for authentic leather purses, wallets, and other accessories in the shop’s on-site boutique, all while sipping on their freshly-brewed coffee.
Even better, the Standard has sourced their array of baked treats from some of the top bakeries in Montreal. We’re talking about gourmet donuts from Trou de Beigne, croissants from Hof Kelsten, bagels from St-Viateur, and goodies from vegan bakery, Sophie Sucree.
