The Queen E has THREE new restaurants you have to try

When you think about food in Montreal, the Queen Elizabeth Hotel isn’t exactly the first name that comes to mind.

But that’s about to change.

The renovations are over, and boy, did they change things up. For the first time in a long time, this legendary hotel –  the very same hotel that John Lennon & Yoko Ono staged their ‘bed-in for peace’ over 40 years ago – has something to brag about.

Boasting not one, but three newly renovated and re-designed gastronomic spaces, the Queen E is definitely back in the game.

NACARAT

Perhaps in homage to its famous musical guests, the luxury hotel’s new bar, Nacarat, has a sleek and sophisticated vintage glam rock feel to it, right out of the 60s. Serving up all of the classics, as well as its very own signature cocktails and a wide variety of champagnes, Nacarat is the perfect spot for impressing important clients, or scoping out cute internationals.

ROSELYS

Named after our city’s flag, the hotel restaurant pays tribute to our city’s cosmopolitan culture in both menu and style. Feeling more like something out of New York or London, the French style restaurant is serves breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday, with Executive Chef Baptiste Peupion’s menu heavily influenced by seasonal flavours and local ingredients.

KREMA

And if quality coffee is your thing, their sleek new café Krema is open bright and early every morning serving quality roasts and delicious baked goods well into the night.

And coming this fall, the Artisans urban market will feature savoury products from local Quebec producers for customers on the go.

Stay tuned.
