Quebec’s first corporate vaccination centre is now up and running.
Employees at CAE, a large technology manufacturing company, are now able to get vaccinated at work — a first in the province.
According to the company, close to 75 staff members were vaccinated on Monday, and the company says it plans to vaccinate up to 1,000 people per day in the coming weeks.

CAE is one of 13 corporate vaccination sites that have been approved by the Quebec government. Companies are permitted to vaccinate employees, family members, and employees of partnered companies.
By May, members of the general public with no ties to the companies will be permitted to get vaccinated at any of the 13 corporate locations.
“I am pleased to announce the opening of the first workplace vaccination centre in Quebec to support the government during this mass roll-out with extra resources and to reduce pressure on the healthcare system,” says Marc Parent, President and CEO of CAE. “This is a collective effort that will help save lives, allow for a faster economic recovery and a safe return to normal life.”
CAE is expected to vaccinate between 15,000 to 25,000 from April to August. All 13 companies are expected to administer 500,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine by the end of June.
Other Quebec companies that are joining the corporate vaccination effort include Bombardier, Hydro-Québec, and Saputo Inc. A full list of companies approved by the province of Quebec can be found online.
