Quebec finance minister expected to reveal province's economic plan today

Finance Minister Eric Girard is scheduled to announce updates to Quebec’s economic plan, as the province continues its next phase of deconfinement.

His announcement will highlight the province’s economy since the start of June and he is expected to project Quebec’s budget over the next five years.

Quebec is also currently trying to fast-track major infrastructure projects to boost the economy and create new jobs.

Girard will be speaking live from Quebec City at 10:30 am today.
