Quebec public health has reported 1,620 new COVID-19 cases on Monday morning, along with 25 new deaths.
According to Santé Quebec, of the newly reported deaths, six occurred in 24 hours, 17 between December 7 and December 12, and two from earlier in December.
The number of hospitalizations has increased by 10 compared to the day before, for a total of 890. The number of people in intensive care has decreased by one, to a total of 122.
Total coronavirus cases in the province have now reached 165,535, along with 7,533 deaths.

Public health also reports 2,180,974 negative cases. On December 12, 30,487 tests were conducted, totalling 4,345,304.
Public health continues to advise people to frequently wash their hands, use alcohol-based sanitizers, wear face masks in public, and respect the maximum 10-person limit for indoor gatherings.
