Quebec announces its first coronavirus-related death

Quebec health officials have announced the province’s first COVID-19-related death.

The announcement came from Premier Francois Legault in a press conference today. Legault said the man was a senior from the Lanaudière region

There are currently 94 confirmed coronavirus cases in Quebec.

There have been a total of nine coronavirus-related deaths in Canada.

On Tuesday, Ontario announced its first death, and BC announced three additional deaths, bringing the total number of fatalities in the province up to seven.
