
Quebec public health has announced 297 new coronavirus cases since Thursday morning.
According to Santé Quebec, the province’s coronavirus death toll has increased to 5,792 after announcing one new COVID-19-related death that was attributed to last week.
There are now 66,653 cases in the province, 136 hospitalizations, and 30 patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 1,265,422 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and over 58,000 cases have been resolved.

The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Thursday, September 17, at 6 pm.

Public health continues to advise people to frequently wash their hands, use alcohol-based sanitizers, wear face masks in public, and respect the maximum 10-person limit for indoor gatherings.
Canada’s coronavirus death toll now totals 9,200.
