Quebec reports over 810 coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

Quebec public health has announced 815 new coronavirus cases since Monday morning.

According to Santé Quebec, the province’s coronavirus death toll has increased to 5,970 after announcing three new COVID-19-related deaths.

There are now 87,791 cases in the province, 468 hospitalizations, and 75 patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 1,621,761 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and over 65,000 cases have been resolved.

The new data has been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Monday, October 12, at 6 pm.

Public health continues to advise people to frequently wash their hands, use alcohol-based sanitizers, wear face masks in public, and respect the maximum 10-person limit for indoor gatherings.
