
There were 98 new coronavirus cases confirmed in the province over the past 24 hours and zero COVID-19-related deaths.
According to Santé Quebec, the province’s coronavirus death toll has remained at 5,750 from Thursday to Friday.
There are now 62,124 cases in the province, 117 hospitalizations, and 17 patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 1,028,173 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and over 54,000 cases have been resolved.
The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Thursday, August 27, at 6 pm.
Santé Quebec says that despite the newly announced cases, hospitalizations continue to stabilize.
