
The Quebec government revealed that the province’s COVID-19 death toll has reached 5,687 after announcing two new deaths since Tuesday morning.
Coronavirus cases in the province have also increased by 155 in the past 24 hours.
According to Santé Quebec, there are now 60,000 cases in the province, 167 hospitalizations, and 19 patients in the ICU.
Currently, a reported 813,787 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and over 30,000 cases have been resolved.

The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Tuesday, August 4, at 6 pm.
Santé Quebec says that despite the newly announced cases, hospitalizations continue to stabilize.
