Quebec has reported under 100 coronavirus cases for a week straight

There are 86 new coronavirus cases confirmed in the province over the past 24 hours, the seventh consecutive day of less than 100 reported cases in Quebec.
According to Santé Quebec, the province’s coronavirus death toll has also increased by one since Wednesday morning, raising the provincial total to 5,780.
There are now 61,402 cases in the province, 146 hospitalizations, and 26 patients in the ICU.

Currently, a reported 953,084 tests have turned up negative throughout Quebec, and over 54,500 cases have been resolved.
The new data had been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Wednesday, August 19, at 6 pm.
Santé Quebec says that despite the newly announced cases, hospitalizations continue to stabilize.
