Beginning this week, a light-up winter wonderland will be taking over Place des Festivals for the eighth annual edition of Luminothérapie.
This year’s display is called Impulse and it is an interactive work comprised of light-up seesaws.
To activate them, one person has to sit on each end and when the seesaw starts to move it will produce sound and light.
“The installation and its streamlined design will delight children and adults as they play with the sounds and lighting effects it produces, filling the Place des Festivals with a dance of sounds and lights, bringing joy and warmth to the winter’s cold, short days and dark nights,” said Quartier des Spectacles on its website.
Luminothérapie kicks off on November 30.
