Summer. Music festivals. Need we say more? But there are festivals, and then there are Festivals, the iconic, days-long celebrations of everything good in life. And when it comes to iconic Festivals, it’s hard to beat Osheaga Music and Arts Festival.
From August 2 to 4, the festival will be taking over its original site at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal.
Of course, celebrating in VIP style is hands-down the most spectacular way to take in the best of Osheaga Music and Arts Festival 2019. To help you do that, we’ve created a simple checklist of everything worth seeing and doing. (Insider’s tip: You don’t need a VIP pass for this!)
Get a premium view of the main stage
Remember when we said that you don’t need a VIP pass to experience Osheaga in style? Well, that’s because Virgin Mobile is back at the festival for another year of amazing VIP experiences for Members. Yes, you heard that right! Being a Virgin Mobile Member comes with a wide range of benefits, and at Osheaga, this is no exception.
All Virgin Members get exclusive access to the Virgin Mobile Members Lounge, where you can take in an incredible view of the main stage, relax on comfortable lounge furniture, and order drinks from the private bar. Sound fancy enough for you? Access to the Members Lounge will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis for Virgin Mobile Members, so make sure to arrive early to secure your spot. All you have to do is provide your phone number at the Virgin Mobile Members Lounge check-in to show that you’re a Member, and you’re in. It’s that easy!
Virgin Mobile doesn’t just hook Members up at the best events of the summer, they help you plan your summer, too. Earlier this year, Virgin Mobile offered all Members across Canada exclusive pre-sale access to Osheaga passes. (If that’s how you got yours, we’re proud of you.)
Check out the headlining acts
Osheaga’s stellar lineup is one that you don’t want to miss, especially the headlining acts. On August 2, you can catch The Lumineers, Flume, Gucci Mane, Interpol, and J Balvin perform the songs that you know and love.
Next up on August 3 is Janelle Monae, The Chemical Brothers, Rüfüs du Sol, City and Colour, and Logic. On the final day of the festival, you’ve got Childish Gambino, Kaytranada, Metric, Hozier, and Tame Impala. And that’s only the beginning!
Chill out at Virgin Mobile’s exclusive pop-up beach club
Virgin Mobile is bringing beachy vibes to the Osheaga Music & Arts Festival. (Because, why not?)
All festival-goers can visit Virgin Mobile’s exclusive pop-up beach, Le Club, located near the Valley Stage. Guests will be able to lounge on the sandy beach in lounge chairs under sun umbrellas, where they’ll also be able to play beach games, win some summer swag from Virgin Mobile, and also enter to win access to the Virgin Mobile Members Lounge!
Indulge in the food (and drinks!)
The food is arguably one of the best parts of any music festival, and Osheaga is no exception. Expect vendors selling a variety of food (think burgers, vegetarian options, and more) and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Just make sure you have at least two pieces of ID with you so you can get your drinks with no problems!
And yes, poutine will be available. Smoked meat probably will be too. After all, it is Montreal.
Three days, three headliners, and a plethora of artists from a multitude of genres are waiting for you once you arrive on the island. No matter what your music preferences are, you’re sure to have an unforgettable experience at Osheaga.
Last spring, Virgin Mobile ran a Member Benefit contest, giving Members the chance to win a VIP experience at Osheaga. Virgin Mobile will be hosting the contest winners for an unforgettable VIP festival experience at Osheaga.
This includes weekend passes to the festival, backstage tours, artist meet and greets, side-stage viewing, access to artist catering and to the Members Lounge. And if you’re a contest-winning Member, by the end of the festival, you’ll feel like a celebrity yourself. Who knows, you might even manage to get a selfie or two with your favourite artists!
As a Virgin Mobile Member, you can make the most of opportunities during festival season and beyond. This includes getting everyday deals on popular brands, as well as chances to win amazing experiences and VIP access at the hottest events, just like Osheaga.
