9 online fitness studios and classes to try from Montreal this winter

Nov 25 2020, 10:09 pm

We’ve all heard of the often mentioned “work from home” throughout the pandemic but working out from home is just as necessary.

As the pandemic rages on, all of the gyms, fitness studios, dance and yoga centres, and boxing clubs in Montreal have shut down. With no reopening date announced, it might be time to turn your living room table into a bench press.

Luckily, for fitness enthusiasts who rely on trainer-led classes, there are still a bunch of local gyms and fitness centres that are hosting online classes.

While the days are getting shorter and the pandemic is getting longer, it’s important to maintain physical well-being, just as it is for mental. Here is a list of free courses, online subscriptions, and live streams to help keep you fit during arguably the most upside-down time in human history.

Plus, aside from getting in a good workout, you’re helping local businesses who are also feeling weak during the COVID-19 shutdown.
