Old Montreal's farmers' market is officially open for the summer

Every Thursday and Sunday!

Old Montreal’s resident summer farmers’ market, Marche des Eclusiers, has officially returned for 2017.

Set up right on De La Commune by the water, this small market is now open for business every Thursday and Sunday for the remainder of the summer.

The mission of Marche des Eclusiers is simple: showcase Quebec products. There is no middle man. This unique market gives producers the chance to sell their products directly to the public.

Offerings at the market are seasonal but typically you’ll find fruit and vegetables, bread and pastries, organic juices and breakfast, hot sauce, dog food, and cheese.

2017 participants include The Little Bakery, The Carya Gardens, The Farm of the Four Times, Fromagerie Au Gre des Champs, Farmhouse A. Lauzon, Velish, Gordz Hot Sauce, Farm Homefield, WOOF Diet, and more.

Be sure to stop by this sustainable and locally-sourced farmers’ market the next time you’re in Old Montreal!

Marche des Eclusiers

When: Thursdays 2 pm-7 pm and Sundays 9 am-2 pm
