Montreal’s health food scene is finally starting to grow with new places like VertU Bar Santé opening.
Inspired by a documentary and after facing some health issues, Andy Aboushaybeh (LABARAKE Caserne à Manger, Boulangerie & Cie, and Terrasses Bonsecours) set out to gather as much information as possible for a path to healthy living. That journey led him and his wife to conceptualize and open VertU.
The couple brought Chef Giuseppe Sacchetti on board to curate the menu. With experience in kitchens at places such as 40Westt, Narcisse and Time Supper Club, Chef Giuseppe will make healthy taste delicious.
Made to order salads will surely be a hit but freshly pressed juices and velvety smoothies will satisfy even the pickiest of eaters!
The interior was meant to feel airy and organic made with materials focused on reducing negative environmental impact. Issa Design created elements such as a bright blue sky ceiling and a visually stunning nutritower that allows for fresh herbs to grow all year round truly making you feel like you’re in another world.
