A little Vienna, anyone?

Air Canada’s Star Alliance and joint venture partner, Austrian Airlines, is making Austria more easily accessible by introducing a new year-round flight service between Montreal and Vienna, starting April 29, 2019.

Canada’s largest airline’s new flight service will also provide for Aeroplan accumulation and redemption, Star Alliance benefits, priority check-in (for eligible customers) and Maple Leaf Lounge access (where available).

“With Austria’s high concentration of head offices and large number of conventions, our Montreal-Vienna flights offer business travellers a non-stop link to a key European market, while Austria’s fabled history, culture, cafĆ©s and markets all available in one of the world’s most livable cities will be of interest for leisure travellers.” Said Lucie Guillemette, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Air Canada.

Introductory fares will start as low as $998 round-trip, tax in and tickets are available for purchase through the Air Canada website.

Note: An earlier version of this article stated the flight to Vienna was offered through Air Canada. The flights are offered through Star Alliance joint venture partner Austrian Airline. The article has since been updated.
