A new cafe just opened in Shaughnessy Village

Nov 4 2016, 9:15 pm

After Moe’s Diner closed in December 2015, it seemed like the corner of Rue Lambert and De Maisonneuve would remain empty forever.

Now, approximately 10 months later, a new cafe has moved in and is making quite a stir.

Titled the Shaughnessy Cafe, this low key coffee shop has become a mecca for students (Dawson College is only a few steps away) and residents living in Shaughnessy Village.

Serving up delicious espresso and an array of irresistible baked goods, including croissants, cookies, muffins, bars, and loaves, you have to check out one of Montreal’s newest cafes.
