Mount Royal is hosting guided snowshoeing expeditions this winter

Worried about embarking on a snowshoeing adventure by yourself? Not to worry!

Les Amis de la Montagne have got an awesome winter programme packed with exciting events like their City Lights Snowshoe Excursions.

The organization invites you to discover the secrets of Mount Royal by snowshoe. Explore the mountain’s trails, find breathtaking views of the city, and get in some cardio during their 90-minute guided treks.

Tours run every Friday and Saturday evening between January 6th and March 4th. In addition, each expedition costs $22 for adults ($17 for kids under 15) and includes snowshoe rentals and complimentary hot chocolate.

There are also special Valentine’s Day snowshoe excursions for those looking to solidify romantic plans in advance.

Excursions leave at 6pm from the Beaver Lake Pavilion and are conducted in both English and French.

Be sure to reserve a spot online in advance.
